Biography |

Dave
Weirich is a native of Indiana. He received a B.S. in music
education from Indiana
State University
and a M.M. in music composition from Arizona
State University.
He was a student of Ronald LoPresti, Randall
Shinn, Wayne
Bennett, and Harry Gee. Dave has taught instrumental
music in Indiana, Michigan, and Arizona. In 1995, he was
appointed Music Director at Maplewood
Mennonite Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana and in 1997,
joined the faculty at The
Culver Academies,
in Culver, Indiana, where he teaches woodwinds, music
theory, and music history. Schools, churches, and other organizations across the country have commissioned Dave to write music for concert band, marching band, choir, orchestra, and organ.
